Let's play a fun game called "let's see how many things Charley can pull out and shunt into boxes in the space of half an hour".
I'm not usually a very messy person, but when it comes to packing up my room at the end of term . . . well. Even my vain attempts to organise it by putting things in piles doesn't really help the general effect of chaos.
I'd take a picture of my bed, too, but I can't zoom the camera out far enough to give you a full indication of its occupation by the forces of Things I Own.
And the best part? This isn't even the majority of my work, yet.
Admittedly, this is a lot easier than in previous years, when I've had to take down absolutely everything because we alternated rooms every term, but my capacity for mess-making is still very much in play.
Still, as long as I can clear the bed so I can sleep in it - what little sleep I'll get after tomorrow night's Christmas party - then I shall contain the screaming ball of Clean Freak until I can wrestle all my things into the back of a car to drive home on Saturday.
All the way through Europe. Which, I am informed, involves snow. What fun.
Nevertheless, I shall be back with you all on Tuesday with lots of new and exciting things - more vlogs, possibly, definitely more book reviews, Writerly Tips and festive bouncings galore!
See you all then!
