And Now For Something Completely Different!

Huh. I see the cleaning minions never materlialised. Cobwebs, cobwebs, cobwebs . . .

. . . Oh, hello. Didn't realise you were still here.

A lot has changed in the world of Charley since my last post here - unfortunately, a shift in status to Almighty Ruler of Earth and the Universe at Large has not been one of them (yet).

I shall not bore you with protracted explanations of the chaos that ensued after the fateful day of examination results came - I made a vlog all about that - but, suffice to say, that my first few days at university have danced merrily across the line between gloriously fun and incomprehensibly manic. Still, now I have begun to settle into my routine, and plough through the endlessly vast pile of books that are this term's reading.

I shall probaly be doing some posts on those later. Keep your eyes peeled.

In fact, keep your eyes peeled for plenty of exciting things coming up! Because, although my reading pile is huge and I will, doubtless, soon be swimming more than walking through my bookshelves, I do have some free days.

Furthermore, this year promises adventures. Many, many adventures. Stay tuned.

However, as we stare off into the tangled purple underbelly of the future (don't ask - dye is dangerous stuff in the wrong hands), I think I shall conclude this post with a look to the past.

September the 22nd was Hobbit Day - the shared birthday of Frodo and Bilbo Baggins. As well as amalgamating a post called Hobbits, According To You! over at The Book Chewers, I also wanted to do something here.

Of course, I completely forgot to do that. Nevertheless, a thing belated is no less a thing to be enjoyed. Especially if said thing happens to be a party.

  1. *peers out of cobwebby corners* What is this? A POST?! ...
;) I joke, I joke! still I'm very excited for the exciting things coming soon. Also I'm not a fan of parties, but that hobbit party sounds fantastic. There's lots of food options.

    1. Oh yes. Food is the best part about any party, and let no one tell you otherwise.

  5. Whee! I'm glad you're back, m'dear. And with instructions for birthdays... I've expected something like that for a very long time.

All puns aside, however, it is very good to have you back.
